Cameras, clapper boards & craziness

Hi all, this is just a quick post to let you know about the fun we’ve been having at the Bradford College Open Evening tonight. Open Evening are always part of the job and I personally really enjoy them as its an opportunity to meet potential students and also meet tutors from other departments. However they can sometime be quite a dry affaire so, as always, we (the Bradford WWI Film School) decided it was our job to liven thing up. To do this to we decided to incorporating into our stand a little area to do instant photo-shoots with any visitors that came along. We also printed the photos straight away using the brilliant Polaroid Pogo (if you’ve not seen them you must check them out) so the visitors could take their image home with them. It was a great set up and as expected everyone loved it. The visitors really enjoyed seeing all the equipment in action and the tutors from other departments were really intrigued. In fact we ended up taking photos of all them too. However if you had to ask who had he most fun it would definitely have to be us. As with all things photographic the staff (us) were straight in there to have a play and the all results can be seen here https://www.facebook.com/BradfordFilmSchool. However I though it’d share directly with you. Facebook profile picture I think. Not bad for an evenings work 🙂 xx
